This was my first Red Green book that I have read, and frankly it is hard to read it without hearing his voice reading off the words. It's that accurate to the show's feel.

This was a very enjoyable read, but I had to read some, put it down, return to it later. Not that it was a hard read, just imagine watching 5 hours of only the Handyman's Corner and you will get what I mean.

Having said that... if you area fan you must read this book. The part about what do with your old lawnmower had me on the floor. It is definitely a funny read, but as usual he also touches on some good points if you look for them.

I got this as a gift for my spouse who is a member of the Possum Lodge. He reads in bed and chuckles all the way through this and reads me selections. The book is a hoot! Any Red Green fan, and others as well, will enjoy it.
As you would expect, this is a very amusing book. As well as informative!

Also, the drawings are very professionally done. Nice work, Red!
This book lives up to it's title in more ways than one. The amuseing way he explains how to do everything is a treat to the reader, interspersed with good advice on how to do many difficult little jobs( and not be permanently maimed in the process).
My husband and I read this to each other on a recent trip, and often laughed out loud. We laughed so hard sometimes that we cried. Other times the person reading wasn't able to finish the paragraph or thought, as they started laughing. His suggested solutions to common challenges and the sarcasm are very funny! WE loved it so much that we purchased a copy for my father, who owned his own construction company for years. He told us that he read the first chapter and was laughing out loud. The whole book isn't that way, but there are plenty of opportunities for laughter.
I just bought this book for my father who is a big Red Green fan as well as I. It arrived last night and I took it out of the box and just randomly opened it up and began reading. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Granted I am a female and may have a little different perspective than the average male reader but if you are a fan of Red Green it is the same thing you are used to just put down on paper. The sections in the book are short and make it easy to read. I think I am going to have to add this to my Christmas list now!
This book is a lighthearted, slapstick take on the ever-mysterious man-woman relationship. Have a laugh. We all need it once in a while, especially us married folks.
Steve Smith really shows off just how funny he really is in this book. A lot of the humor is so subtle that you glace past it, ask yourself "wait a minute, did that say what I think it said," read it again, and then crack up.
